LIME REPOINTING & PLASTERING

TRADITIONAL LIME POINTING

From small localised mortar repairs to large Lime mortar repointing projects of the historical Cobb in Lyme Regis, Gee stonework works to a very high standard to complete clean and correctly applied Lime mortars for repointing.
The importance of lime pointing in its correct make up of aggregates/lime ratio, mixing and method of application is vital to a successful project. We work with hydraulic lime mortars, traditional lime putty, prompt natural Roman cement mortars and all associated materials. Mortar analysis from existing original lime is also a method we provide for specific projects

LIME PLASTERING & PAINTING

We work predominately with natural lime products, understanding the beneficial effects it has on historical & period buildings/structures.
